What Linkedin is to professionals so is Twitter to activists.

Twitter is a platform to raise voices. Be it political heat or consumer grievances, this social media is still a promising platform that could even kickstart a revolution.

Elon Musk, one of the biggest business conglomerates in the World currently acquired Twitter, one of the largest social media platforms. He announced a monthly subscription charge of $8, which has created controversy all over the World.

Twitter users found the rate to be quite high. Elon Musk has further stated that it is a drive taken on account of the profitability of the company.

He said the new Twitter will have comparatively lesser advertisements and this initiative was taken so that the platform is less reliant on advertising companies.

Musk being an aggressive leader has even gone to the extent of reaching out to users to pay for verification. However, sources have revealed that Musk’s new move did not quite go well with Twitter users.

The business tycoon currently acquired the social media platform for $44 billion, after a long legal battle.

Some users are quite overwhelmed by this new move and have labelled the initiative to create disparity amongst the society after the currently released statement said that price will be adjusted according to the purchasing power parity of the country.

The ongoing heat impacted the workforce of Twitter, stating that the entire workforce needs to move so that the company may evolve.

The turbulence is not only limited only to Twitter’s US operations but has put an impact on Australia as well, as Australia’s marketing manager for Twitter left the organization on Friday bidding goodbye.

Workplace morale is questioned by workers who have put their heart and soul into the company. The US administration says that such an initiative will impact employee sustainability and loyalty towards the company in future.

The Biden administration has taken up this upheaval quite seriously, stating that the US administration will consider a national security review of the current deal, hinting at comments made in favour of the Russian Government. Biden has further placed doubts about investment with foreign companies.

As per sources, Elon Musk has taken the initiative of an $8 subscription to reduce spam & fake profiles and a bad influence on the platform. To some, it could best of days and to others, it could worst of the days.

Elon Musk rightfully commented, on their voice at its height,  that people are rather throwing tantrums on paying a meagre sum who otherwise would not mind spending fortunes over other things and places.

Twitter’s work culture has seen a huge decline. Employees are made to work 12 hours a day. To make it worse, Musk has even called off the work-from-anywhere policy so that the employees return to the office at any cost.

A recent image showed a senior manager sleeping on the office floor after working for more than 12 hours a day. Musk’s administration is creating this immense pressure on its employees to revamp the entire workforce. Musk is handling the entire administration by himself currently.

Every revolutionary step comes with pros and cons. Musk’s acquisition of Twitter has brought about a revolutionary change all over the world. How far it is to go is a subject matter of concern. Social media platforms have influenced us to such an extent that they have become an inextricable part of our lives. A small change in any one of these platforms will only impact the users.

Another point, as echoing among the mass; everything is depending upon the mass. More time is expected to ascertain whether everything would go normally.
